FAQ

Question about our product?

Do you give back to any organization?

Yes!  Portions of your purchase go to supporting JDRF

Portions of the tape released from my skin during heavy perspiration what should i do.

This does not happen often but at times the tape may release when there is extensive amount of sweat and or rubbing of clothing.  The idea is not to remove the tape but once you shower the adhesive will re-adhere to the skin and continue supporting the device. It seems odd but the tape does not perform like a band-ad, its resilient.

I'm extremely sensitive to some adhesives, do you offer samples?

The tape adhesive is made from Acrylate and some skin types are more sensitive then others.  If you are unsure if you would respond negatively to the product please ask for a sample to try before you make a purchase.

Where are the overlay patches made?

Our overlay patches are made in the US outside of Philadelphia.

What can I use to remove the remaining adhesive from skin?

There are many ways to remove the adhesive but we personally like baby oil as it leaves behind a pleasant smelling aroma. We have also heard regular deodorant works well.

Can you produce overlay tape for other devices?

Absolutely!  We designed Stick2Hope so others could enjoy in the creativity. Diabetes is only one of life’s challenges and we would be honored to work with you making your challenges less stressful.

Do the overlay patches contain Latex?

No!  Our material is latex free.

How do I remove the overlay tape?

There is a saying in the medical field "Low and Slow".  Pull the tape parallel to the skin while holding the skin down.  Never remove the tape in one quick motion as this will cause trauma and damage to the skin.

How is the patch applied?

We recently released a new version of our tape.   The style of tape and the art work has remained the same, it is how the tape is applied.  We introduces a "Crack and Peel" to the back of all patches which makes it easier to apply.  As seen below, peel part A off the back of the patch, apply over the device and smooth out the patch.  Now remove sections B and smooth out.
